Oh Dave~ this is one of the most powerful paintings I've ever seen... the painting itself is absolutely GORGEOUS... if we didn't know what was going on we might think it 's an image of extreme peace... but the night is otherwise... utterly horrifying, what you all went through. (My stepdad served as a Marine in Vietnam.) All my respect goes out to you, for what you endured and put on the line for your country. Thank You Sir.

Amazing how something so beautiful such as the atmosphere and sky can be darkened by the deeds being done under them. What a powerful painting and message! Love this one for its hauntingly beautiful capture of feelings on a dark night. You have found beauty in a dark world,and so masterfully done!
