This is a painting of autumn birds including an optical illusion of one. The painting was hanging in the Uumbaji Gallery of Fine Arts on the Campus of Kent State University located at Kent, Ohio. It was part of a display of artworks done by war veterans.

I remember when Dave brought this painting to the Dr Pipolys office. I fell in love with it. He was so proud of the illusion of the bird with the leaves. This is one of my favorites. I sure do miss Dave's kind heartedness and how he always made me smile. I have the pencil drawing Dave did of the Miner for Doc ( as he called him) now that the Doc is gone too.
