Been away for FAA for quite a while - just learned of Dave's sad passing..... When I began on FAA - I was green and naive - I always remember Dave's wonderful encouraging and generous comments. He appeared to uplift many on this site and I expect in life. Sadly missed by many - a wonderful human being. His spirit will live with his glorious artwork - his legacy in life.

I just learned of your passing from Reynold Jay. I didn’t know you here, Dave, and that is my loss. The out-pouring of love, appreciation and affection shared below speaks to your presence and the effect you must surely have had on so many. Your creativity was remarkable as your gallery testifies. May your soul soar and light our direction home.

Oh man... I can barely see my keyboard as I am trying to type this my friend. It is very uncharacteristic for me to shed a tear... but I certainly am right now. Life has kept me away from this community for the past year and a half, I had no idea that it would carry such a heavy price. You offered me so much in the way of kindness and support as a fellow artist. You bought my book of art and mailed it to me so that I would sign it for you... and included an original painting of yours as a gift. I have your painting in a place of great importance, and I see it every day. Farewell brother. I will remember your spirit always.

I still share your Art with friends and think of you often. You are missed.. big guy! Not just for your talented Art but also for that big heart of yours... worth more than gold. This place won't ever be the same without you and your thoughtful, kind words of encouragement! My heart sank when I found out you're gone... but your spirit lives on. Thanks again for everything. I can only imagine how much you are missed by your loved ones. Brother you were one of a kind! One day I'll see ya on the other side.

Oh no... I just read Dave's updated bio... i'm saddened to hear about his passing. Dave was a wonderful, talented Artist with a kind soul...heart of gold..
