Wow, Dave, this evokes so much emotion! Even without reading the description, I feel it. After reading it, I'm amazed at what you can do with paint and a canvas and words. Thank you.

Dave, I read Elizabeths post before me and she is spot on. You have rendered an amazing depiction of the horrors you have faced. This painting moves me so much, the thoughts and feelings of a horrific time in someones life do come back as they have been recreated in your painting with the bright flashes,and vividness. I sympathize with this depiction of the chaos in ones mind. So beautifully done though.. I am amazed by your depth of artistic talent, from brush,to mind,to heart. Your art says it all!

You take us back to a chaotic time; i was of your age then and thought of you guys every day. That era shaped my own life but far less painfully than it did yours.
