About Dave Farrow
It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I must inform you of Dave's passing on November 13th 2018. He loved being part of this site with all of his heart. He enjoyed reading and responding to all his comments and making comments to his other artists buddies as well. I just wanted to make sure you all know why he is not responding to your comments. Not only have I lost my husband of 40 years, my best friend, my soul mate but the world has lost a wonderful person, artist and soul as well. Sincerely, Lorraine Farrow Don`t let the bio photograph scare you. Seven other veterans and myself grow pony tails to donate to wigs for kids with cancer. Seven of the eight vets either have or have survived cancer. I have survived 10 years after...

Dave, I adore this painting! Another one I can't believe I missed before now! Its subject is close to my heart, as I so love trees and personifications of them. As a young child, I so enjoyed the trees in our yard, which were perennial playmates, now old friends. You have captured the essence of your theme in beautiful colors, composition, and forms from a fantastic perspective. The sky is awesome! I can just imagine the conversations these two old guys have had! l/f/g+
