Back in the mid 70`s, my wife and I lived and worked in Fort Myers, Florida. We spent almost all of spare time fishing. We enjoyed the natural beauty around us including all the Gulf had to offer. Some evenings we spent watching the boats on the gently rolling ocean and feeding the gulls.
About Dave Farrow
It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I must inform you of Dave's passing on November 13th 2018. He loved being part of this site with all of his heart. He enjoyed reading and responding to all his comments and making comments to his other artists buddies as well. I just wanted to make sure you all know why he is not responding to your comments. Not only have I lost my husband of 40 years, my best friend, my soul mate but the world has lost a wonderful person, artist and soul as well. Sincerely, Lorraine Farrow Don`t let the bio photograph scare you. Seven other veterans and myself grow pony tails to donate to wigs for kids with cancer. Seven of the eight vets either have or have survived cancer. I have survived 10 years after...

Dave, I just love the gentle movement that infiltrates every inch of this painting from the boats,to the waves,to the scudding sunset clouds. I love also the wonderful use of complimentary warm oranges with cool blue hues. Lastly,I just love the whole way it makes me feel that I'm part of such a lovely scene.You often describe your memories of places, and I always think that your imagination is so fertile to bring those memories alive again so vividly.
