I don't think I've seen this one ! The thunderstorm sky is a total marvel! I just love thundery sky when there is still brilliant light. You caught that feeling here magnificently both in the sky and in how the weather illuminated the landscape. Trees and flowers, all so radiantly lovely, and the overall atmosphere, so perfect that I want to hold onto it and wish it would never pass by. Awesome work Dave. L/F

Dave Farrow replied:

Jane, thank you so much sweetheart

Love the feeling I get with this piece. You have such a way of taking us into a scene, filling all of our senses. With your dramatic stormy sky, you can hear the distant thunder. The smell and taste of freshly fallen rain fills the air. You can see how the rain has refreshed the trees, flowers and vegetation, such beauty to behold. One feels revitalized. Gorgeous scene you have painted for us. (Both literally and visually). LV/FV Janet

Dave Farrow replied:

J.M. thank for such an incredible comment fair lady....you`re awesome

It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I must inform you of Dave's passing on November 13th 2018. He loved being part of this site with all of his heart. He enjoyed reading and responding to all his comments and making comments to his other artists buddies as well. I just wanted to make sure you all know why he is not responding to your comments. Not only have I lost my husband of 40 years, my best friend, my soul mate but the world has lost a wonderful person, artist and soul as well.
