Description
This work was inspired by the works of 3 great artists, John Alexander, Hartmut Jager and John Foss. Many of their works predict doom and gloom for the future of the human race. Predictions I agree with. However, pause for a moment and say, just say "What If"......Eons ago, mankinds` earliest ancestors crawled forth from the Primordial seas. His evolution took place over countless millennia. Today his greed and technology have taken him to the brink of his own demise .But, "What If" man could somehow avoid a seemingly inevitable extinction level event and survive another 1000 years or longer? Would his world include such things as space travel? Would telekinesis and extra sensory perception be the norm? So many questions that remain to be answered.

Dave you created a totally startling and amazing painting! A startling vision of the future - or even of the present, somewhere in our unimaginably vast universe. As to gloom and doom of our survival I would say the race is still on. I believe that our scientist and our proven human ingenuity will win the day, like we have already travelled in space, albeit not very far. Dave you win the "Great Universal Thinker" medal. :-) :-) :-)

Gosh...everything happens for a reason..as I was so drawn to this work..and yes...I thought of Hartmut :) then I read your description..and it made sense..but he has yet to come to this creative and right up his street artwork..I love it..I love the way you think..and create. What If..remains the huge question..but if we look closely at the stories in this thought-provoking painting..we may get some answers..I absolutely looooove your work, dear Dave..keep creating magic..as this world needs it so desperately..thank you! :) f.v tw
