Dave, I'm experiencing such a wonderful burst of color and energy and light from the sun in this painting. I just love that I can bask in it, and that it is ,for me, the focal point for this uplifting work. I know it is called " The Island" but to experience the sunset and cool distant mountains every night from this amazing island would fill the senses with beauty, as does your painting.
