Description
The year is 1770. As the morning sun rises over distant mountains, two scouts of the great Cheyenne nation creep slowly along the small grassy embankment in their customary "wolf camouflage". On the sprawling plain before them they find what they are looking for, the Buffalo herd. Tonight there will be feasting and dancing.

Dave!! I love clouds in all their stages, and these are fabulous clouds that you have painted here!!! Interesting how you painted the buffalo in the clouds. I always see things in the clouds. A people who really had respect for the "Creator's" handiwork, the land and the animals. You have captured that here!! LV/FV Janet

Dave, I can't get over how talented you are. (How do you do it? (rhetorical question) ....I am absolutely amazed by the details, colors and overall composition in this painting. You have a masterpiece in the sky alone! Then there is the rest of this outstanding painting for me to admire as well. I hope all is fine with you and family. Blessings to you during the Christmas season and always. LF
