The last time I checked on the beauty was in August and here's what just rode in to make me so happy again....all that great yellow grass and green hills, that stunning horse and cowboy....the best, Dave....one of you best. F/L ++++ Where are those medals when you need them?

Dave I am so grateful for the Activity Stream Page because it allows me to see fabulous artwork that I didn't know about. Your wonderful artwork here, I have never seen before. I am so glad I have the opportunity today to meditate on it and digest all that it has to offer. I must say when I saw the thumbnail image, I thought oh wow, a cowgirl painting. But it turns out to be a cowboy. With the way the person is sitting on the horse, looked like long dark haired person, just made me think of a cowgirl. Your paintings always take us there Dave. Marvelous, dramatic, stormy sky. Wide open spaces of glorious beauty and scenery. Yes it's a great day to be alive, especially for the cowboy tending the herd. Well done ARTbud!! Big hugs from your ARTbuddette

Dave, I'm always delighted to view your marvellous gallery! Each painting is more than an image but an expression of your being! You are so talented and able to portray a story with the stroke of a brush! LF

This is truly wonderful, my dear friend. It shows the solitary, yet peaceful, life of a cowboy. :)))

The mood in this one is really terrific. The dark rolling clouds , the way the cowboy is so relaxed in his saddle and even your positive remarks , add to the visual peace and harmony of this art work.FAV and I can not believe I did not do this before !! will follow;-))

You so wonderfully captured the life of a cowboy in the beautiful outdoors ... on a day with a magnificent stormy sky. Gorgeous painting and story, Dave! l/f/tw

I can't add much to these comments, but 'peaceful', and 'a time gone by', are two of the emotions it conjures up. Love it!
