Description
I have a fascination, better yet an obsession with mountains. They are some of Gods most beautiful creations. They are the hallmarks of the wilderness. Though I have only seen the Rockies once, that was all it took. I fell head over heels for the grandeur, freedom and sweet magic.

Yes, indeed, dearest Dave. There is nothing more incredible than the beauty of Mt. Rainier in Washington state. In my opinion it is the most impressive of all of the peaks of the Rockies, which is saying a lot because they are all incredible. I used to visit Mt. Rainier frequently when I lived in western Washington, and it always dominated the landscape from my property in eastern Olympia. Mountains are so amazing and powerful. This painting speaks loud and clear of the beauty to be found in the Rockies, from the rugged peaks to the flowing and cascading waterfalls. So well done, my dear friend Dave. L/F

I just love those happy, little trees you have hugging that beautiful waterfall, while framing that majestic mountain. Just breathtaking! l/f

Dave, you have depicted the falls so sensitively that I am right there; I can feel the spray of moisture on my face as I stand nearby. The river is so inviting that I would love to dive right in! The trees are gorgeous, and the colors of the clouds surrounding that stunning mountain are gorgeous! Beautiful work, my friend; your imagination is a treasure! l/f

How have I missed this beauty? Sweet Magic is so the appropriate title. The mountain rising up in the background is spectacular and seems to preside over the roaring falls.
