Hi, Dave. I'm revisiting this lovely young lady. Oh, to be the Queen of the vineyard. I've tried and the tryouts are fun, but the competition is fierce. This one deserves it, tho, so I'm happy you're the one that painted her.

Queen of the vineyard with the Mona Lisa smile. You have given her a lot of mystery in her eyes, very dramatic. Lovely presentation of grapes and foliage, against a warm, rich backdrop. Dave, you never cease to amaze me. You must be a descendent of Merlin the magician! That paintbrush, when in your hand, becomes a magic wand. This is a very inventive and creative work. Hello dear Dave, I noticed this gem of a painting a few days back but had no idea it belonged to you! It's gorgeous! You are so versatile in what you do. Just love the rich ochers, can't help always first zooming in on color ! Color took over my mind on one memorable November day many years ago and has stayed ever since! This is so lovely, goddess-like, suggestions of ancient Greece, pagan undertones, quirky, ,just adore how her mouth has a surreal twist . All those words just had to pour out! Awesome Dave! L/F

Aww---Dave, really you shouldn't have----how sweet of you to paint a portrait of me. :)) You captured me perfectly, tending to my vines, enjoying their sweet succulent juicy goodness in all forms ( especially fermented), touring the local wineries for a little taste testing. But seriously now--- I really love this painting, so magical, creative and charming! Can't help but think what a great wine label it would make! LF
