It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I must inform you of Dave's passing on November 13th 2018. He loved being part of this site with all of his heart. He enjoyed reading and responding to all his comments and making comments to his other artists buddies as well. I just wanted to make sure you all know why he is not responding to your comments. Not only have I lost my husband of 40 years, my best friend, my soul mate but the world has lost a wonderful person, artist and soul as well. Dave, I love your bold brush work, bright colours and sweeping skies! I notice you introduce orange in many of your works and that doesn't surprise me one bit. There is something so special about being in the mountains surrounded by pine trees, Dave. The sound of the wind through them, the fragrant pine scent, the cool fresh mountain air....then to witness a gorgeous sunrise or sunset and WOW, we're in for a treat big time!
